Hello Creative Friends!,
This month, I know its late ;(, sorry , we're diving into a topic that every junk journaler wrestles with at some point—organization. When your space is cluttered, your creativity can feel the same way. But don’t worry—organizing doesn’t mean being rigid or losing your creative spark. It means making room for MORE of it!
Why Organization Matters for Junk Journalers
Whether you’re knee-deep in vintage paper or swimming in sticker sheets, having a system helps you: Find what you need faster See your stash clearly (hello, “forgotten” treasures!) Feel more focused and inspired Make more journals, more joyfully
Quick Tips for Getting Organized
1. Sort by Type, Theme, or Color:
Choose a method that matches how your brain works. Some love rainbow sorting, others prefer “nature,” “vintage,” or “holiday” themes.
2. Use Clear Storage:
Transparent bins, zipper pouches, and labeled drawers make it easier to grab and go.
3. Create a ‘Go-To’ Kit:
Keep a small tray or basket of your most-used supplies (glue, scissors, ruler, washi, etc.) at arm’s reach.
4. Schedule a Monthly Tidy-Up:
Even 15 minutes once a month can make a huge difference. Turn on your favorite playlist or podcast and make it fun!
5. Digital Organization Counts Too!
Sort your printable files into labeled folders by style or maker to save time and stress.
Tip of the Month:
"Give every beautiful scrap a home! If it sparks joy or tells a story, don’t toss it—tuck it into your ‘inspiration folder’ for a rainy journaling day."
Happy journaling,
The Junk Journal Newbies Team
I just read this June newsletter about organization and it had some really practical tips that I hadn’t thought about before I especially liked the way it breaks tasks down so they feel less overwhelming. I’m working on an assignment about time management and productivity, and sometimes I struggle to put all my thoughts together in a clear, logical way. That’s why I needed some Native Assignment Help UK organizing my ideas and explaining them clearly hasn’t always been easy. This article gave great examples and inspiration that helped me think about how to describe these concepts more effectively in my own work, which made writing my assignment feel much more manageable.
